Lighthouse Radio Bible Study Lesson #2177
Primary Scripture Reference: Isaiah 29:1-8 (KJV)

Additional Scripture References:
Isaiah 1:11-13 (KJV)
Isaiah 1:15 (KJV)
Psalm 50:1-2 (KJV)
2 Kings 18:13 (KJV)
Isaiah 18:1-2 (KJV)

Romans 12:1
12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Key Points from this Lesson:
The why of worship matters.
What is the purpose of the sacrifice?
Can we sin and pacify God?
Such sacrifices are hypocritical and in vain.
Are we guilty of chronological snobbery?
We are no better than our forebears.
Who is it that we are to worship?
Do not worship the ritual.
Keep your heart with all diligence.
Be a true worshipper of God.
Remember our first love.
Turn to him with our whole heart.
